Happy Good Friday

Ethan woke up in a happy mood again and we had some playtime in the bed. He is really starting to talk more baby talk or Ukrainian we are not sure and really feeling comfortable walking around and is now getting into things, so we really have to watch him. He discovered that he can shake the TV stand and we are having to tell him no to this, but he keeps coming back, and he has found the knobs on the stove but cannot turn them thank goodness. Laura did some vacuum and Ethan was there to help her, at one point he sat down on the floor and started running his hands on the floor like he was the vacuum. Laura is discovering what it means to have a little brother also, she is still leaving things in his reach and has a fit when he gets them, she has a little learning to do and so does Ethan, but we know this will all take time. It is funny to watch the 2 of them though.
We decided to go out for a walk today as the rain seemed to be holding off. It is great not having any snow and ice and the sidewalks are really much bigger. This adds up to more sidewalk parking for cars. Ethan is ok once he is going in the stroller although he sits there not moving the whole time. We walked through the botanical gardens park, we had taken Laura to this park when the snow was still here, this time the birds were singing away the flowers were coming out, and people were out for a walk, but it started to rain on us, yet again, we stuck it out, and carried on. We found a toy store that our friend Helen had shown us. We had hoped that the rain would let up but it did not so we headed for home which I think Ethan was pleased about.
Ethan is really finding his feet now and is getting into everything in the apartment and this evening he sure was being a little mischievous, by doing things and then turning and laughing when told no. We are sure seeing him get more relaxed with us as each day goes by.
