The Easter Weekend

Saturday April 3, 2010

Ethan had his first bath today, there is no plug so we improvised by using the lid of the milk bottle and a face cloth to plug the drain, it worked. Ethan had a shower with me the other day but we were not sure how he would take to a bath full of H20. We had nothing to worry about he loved it, he started to splash at the water and we have a turtle that swims which he liked to play with. By the time we lifted him out he was a prune but a very clean one. We took a walk to the mall down the road as the rain was holding off, yep it was raining again. We needed pants for Ethan as we only have one pair that fits and the others I brought with us are too big. I picked up a pair for a 12 month old but they are too big also, so going to try to return them. With it being Easter we had to go get groceries so we don’t run out as everything is closed Sunday and Monday over here. Ethan struggled to go to sleep last night, but once asleep he slept the night. We are still not sure what time he wakes up as he does not make any noise to wake me and just lies there.
Otherwise we are just spending time as a family and playing.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE

Not much to report today, it started off rainy and now at 4pm the sun has come out. Ethan had a nap and while he was down Martin took Laura out to play with a plane we had got her. This was the first time in 8 weeks that I had been on my own, it was a very strange feeling. Now that Ethan is up Laura has gone for a nap, we really need them to do it together. LOL. We sent a letter to the Easter bunny asking if he could come next week when we get home for the kids, we are hoping it arrived in time.
Anyway that’s it for today, here’s hoping this is our last Sunday in Kiev.
