Today (Saturday) the snow you had back home finally made its way across the Atlantic, then over Europe and dumped it on Ukraine. Now it did lose some strength in that distance, but it was still enough for it to settle and cause our Temp to drop to -6C and a few inches to settle on the ground. So all I can say is thanks a bunch Canada J .
It was another day of staying in due to weather, and the fact that my body still hurts from the excursion it took falling to the ground. Laura got some more school work done, and when she really focuses you can see that she really does know some of her stuff. It was then off out to visit with our Canadian clan for supper. This time we went to Peter and Wendy’s place, they put on a really good meal, and Helen and Dave brought along a chocolate cake, just what we all need. They are all very good with Laura and when Laura asked for music to be put on Peter obliged and next thing you know everyone was up and dancing. Laura thought this was great and it occurred to Martin and I that although she misses everyone it is also the fooling around with other (not just her Parents) that she misses. She is after all a social butterfly. We then realized that the subway closed at midnight, and it was now after 11, so it was a quick get ready and down to the metro, we made it in time to catch the last train home, otherwise Wendy and Peter would have had house guests for the night. All in all we all had a really good evening. Laura decided also after this that she like Ukraine again, we are hoping this continues.
Oh ya just so you all know seeing as your all still sleeping at this point (must be nice to sleep in till noon :) ) It's still snowing a little bit.
Take care everyone
Jennifer, Martin and Laura
