I understand some of you are having trouble posting Comments to our blog. If you would like to send us a message we are checking email daily at jennifer.martin.waterland@gmail.com would love to hear from some of you.
Anyway a couple of days have passed, at least for us it has, seeing as it is almost 8pm on Thursday night. Yesterday was doing the normal household chores, dusting, cleaning the bathroom etc. The sun was shining so it was out for a walk just to see some areas we have not seen from this new apartment. We went to a park for Laura (Laura and Duane you will know where we went) on the way we saw a Mercedes Benz with a Canada flag on the plate I then realized that not only did it have the flag but it was in fact an Ontario licence plate very strange thing to see. We then stopped to phone Paul before he left for work to sing Happy Birthday to him. Hope you enjoyed your supper brother. Then to the park, then a walk down to the circus to try to find out when we can go, but no one spoke English and the times, dates and ticket prices are not really clear so we are still none the wiser.
We saw our first Motor bike yesterday from the window of the apartment; Martin says it was an older Moto Guzzi for those of you who know what we are talking about.
Today I was not feeling too well, and feeling really tired, so we have stayed in the apartment all day. I think Martin is going a little stir crazy so he went for a walk to get some milk, but I needed the down time. Laura did some school work which was like pulling teeth to get her to do it, but once sat down she did really well. Some math, clock reading, matching words to pictures and reading. The sun was shining again today, which at least made outside look brighter. An afternoon nap helped me feel a little better. We have been invited for supper on Saturday night to Peter and Wendy's place. This couple had been matched with a little boy and they had travelled to see him but sadly there were some health issues and have returned to Kiev. We are looking forward to seeing them again.
Well that’s about it for now, not sure what tomorrow holds. Wishing the days would go quicker so we get to Tuesday and our appt with the SDA.
Take Care

hi there
ReplyDeleteI think Ken is getting the Ducati fever of 2010. It is suppose to be 10 degrees this w/e. Maybe baby's blanket will be removed!
I hope Tues is "the day" for you guys. As I was told before flying to Bulgaria the first time: have the courage and strength to say "yes" and have the courage and strength to say "no".
Our thoughts are with you tonight.
