Crummy Day

Well to be quite honest today has been a pretty crummy day. We are all getting to the end of our tethers; the waiting is getting harder and harder to do. Although the sun was shining for the 3rd day it did not help to make me feel better. A good cry was in order this morning. We decided we needed to get out of the apartment and found a shopping centre online that said it had an indoor skating rink, play land and bowling alley. So off to the subway we headed and along 2 stops. Now normally my sense of direction has been really good, but not this time. Martin thought we should go one way, but I was sure it was the other so off we set. Now unfortunately my way was icy, and just when we had got past the thick stuff I stepped on a thin piece of ice and down I went along with Laura. It was not only ice but dirty water too, so we both got very wet pants. Laura had a meltdown, and Martin asked a girl were we could find some pants for her and she directed us to the shopping centre we had been looking for back the way we had come. This is starting to be a long story. Anyway once there we found new jeans for Larua and mine dried on me. We found the play land and Laura got to play on slides climbing frames and ball pits. This made things much better for her. The ice rink is a full size rink but with 4 pillars in the middle of the ice. It is an old Factory converted to a shopping centre spread over 2 buildings. We also found the bowling alley. It was well worth going too, if only we didn’t have the mishap. The mall is called Bil’shovyk.

Well that was our day eventful in many ways; I am now nursing an aching body, and tiring to stay hopeful for next Tuesday. Sorry this post is a downer post, but really need to get it off my chest.

Hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Jennifer, Martin and Laura
