Pictures

Today we went to a 10th century church called St-Sophia, it is really an amazing thing to see, the painting on the walls were in places the paint is gone but the pigment is in the wall so you still can see the picture. It is on the world heritage list. It has slate floors and marble and slate sarcoffagus' inside. Really an amazing thing to see.

Leysa picked us up at 5pm and we went to the notary office where a letter was typed up asking the SDA to give us another appt. date and explaining why we did not go see the child we had talked about in the last post. It looks like we will not be going back to the SDA till next week now. This took 2 hours as the traffic here is just unbelievable bumper to bumper, for those of you reading this in England it is as bad if not worse than London.
We had planned on going out again after Laura had had a nap but this did not happen and we stayed home and got our supper.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny(fingers crossed) so we are planning a full day of things.
Below are just a few pics of of things from the past week.

skating at Independance Square, we have done this twice now.
our kitchen, I have to do a lot of things on top of the washer as there is not much counter space. We have 2 pots and 1 frying pan and discovered tonight that I cannot use the oven as there are no racks in it. The plates are all sandwich size.

This church we can see out the side kitchen window by the sink which you can see in the picture above.
