Internet connection Fixed

Well it looks like we have our internet connection figured out and we have had a signal all day. Horray. This really is our only link to home, so if you want to send us a message it would be great to hear from some of you.

Today we waited home all morning and part of he afternoon for Lesya to call to take us to the SDA to try to get another appt. with them but by 1pm we called her to find out we could not go today. We are hoping we go tomorrow now.

We went out to get grocerys which is an interesting trip in its self. A lot of the time we look at the picture on the package to try to figure out what it is, and somethings do have English on them so that really helps. We have managed to find ketchup, mayonaise, milk is a little creamy over here, fruit and veg are good and they also have frozen veg. we are now getting more comfortable with the shopping trips. The fun part is carrying it all home up hill. We are now really getting used to the underground shopping and have found that we can stay underground for the full length of Independance Square at least 1 mile. This is really good with the way the sidewalks are.

We later met up with our friends and all went ice skating on the square again, this really breaks the day up. Then it was out for a drink, I had a hot chocolate, and to all our surprise it was like they had melted a chocolate bar for me into a cup. Talk about rich and a little much, I will not be ordering that again. Then it was home and some lovely pork chops, rice and brocolli for supper. We have talked to family at home through MSN which is great to do.

Well we have now been here a week and the time has gone by quickly and we hope that soon we will meet a little one.

Today was a little warmer and we sure hope this is also a trend we want to see
