A Date

The waiting has finally ended and we have a date to focus on. We will be leaving either Feb 7 or 8 and our appointment at the SDA (government office) is set for Feb 11. We can now only hope that they have a healthy child for us and in the right age range. So the planning begins, Martin and I went to the travel agent today to arrange for our tickets, which they are working on as they have to find a company that will not charge us an arm and a leg to change our flights for coming home. Arranged with the bank for some crisp new US bills to be brought in, and my mind is buzzing with everything else I need to get done in less than a month.
The ironic part of all this is that Feb 7 2005 was the day that we first met Laura or back then Nadka, and here we are leaving around the same time of year to bring our second child home. I was not sure how I would feel when we started this process back last year, would I be as excited as I was with Laura, but I sure am, and I am having to keep it all in check or I will go crazy. I am now realizing that our family of 3 will soon be 4 and that feels really good.
So for now I have a lot of planning and packing to get done and hopefully this month goes by quickly but not to quickly.
